God’s Word for us today is Mark 1:35-39 .
“In the morning, while it was still very dark, [Jesus] got up and went out to a deserted place, and there he prayed. And Simon and his companions hunted for him. When they found him, they said to him, ‘Everyone is searching for you.’” - Mark 1:35-37
Jesus has just had a pretty big day. And he has another one ahead. How will he find the strength for another day of preaching and teaching? Mark tells us that Jesus has gone away to pray and he stays long enough that everyone us up and looking for him. What do you think happens in that “deserted place”? Can we go too?
